Kathryn Bates joined HFG in February 2021 and currently serves as both Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Kathryn brings a wealth of knowledge from both the Accounting and Financial Service sectors, and is also a licensed Investment Advisor Representative. Kathryn is passionate about providing first class service to clients and running a "tight ship" from an operational perspective.

Kathryn, her husband Dan, and their two children moved to The Woodlands in 2015 from the United Kingdom and thoroughly enjoys living “The American Dream” here in Texas. Kathryn is a Woodlands High School Band Mom and also an avid supporter of the Montgomery County Animal Shelter. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf and networking in the local community.
